Rue Morgue Takes Over Three Horror Conventions This Weekend

Halloween season means one thing for the Rue Morgue crew: hitting the road. This weekend we’re splitting up to cover three horror events across two countries, so if you’re anywhere near Niagara Falls, Lexington or the Ozark Mountains, come find us, say hello and grab the latest issue.

.

Frightmare in the Falls – Niagara Falls, ON (October 23–25)

Rue Morgue is proud to present this year’s Frightmare in the Falls, running all weekend at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre on Stanley Avenue. The Rue Morgue staff will be holding down our booth, moderating panels and hosting events throughout the show, which brings a blood-soaked lineup of celebrity guests, photo ops and horror memorabilia to the edge of the Falls.

.

ScareFest Horror & Paranormal Convention – Lexington, KY (October 23–25)

Down in Kentucky, Rue Morgue executive editor Andrea Subissati is a featured guest at ScareFest, the long-running horror and paranormal convention at Lexington’s Central Bank Center. Andrea will be joined by Shawn Macomber at the Rue Morgue booth all weekend, so stop by to talk shop, pick up magazines and merch, and meet the woman steering the magazine.

.

Nightmare in the Ozarks – Eureka Springs, AR (October 21–24)

Meanwhile, deep in the notoriously haunted Victorian town of Eureka Springs, Rue Morgue‘s Kevin Hoover is already on the ground at the Nightmare in the Ozarks Film Festival, which screens the creepiest new genre films on a 26-foot screen at the historic City Auditorium. Kevin is manning the Rue Morgue booth and hosting a slate of festival events before the fest wraps up on Saturday night.

Can’t make it out this weekend? We’re not done yet: the Rue Morgue crew heads to Spooky Empire in Orlando next weekend, October 30–November 1. Follow us on social media for dispatches from the convention floors, and if you see us out there, come say boo.
