Uncork’d Entertainment Reveals Trailer For Holiday Horror, “THE KILLING TREE”

Although Halloween is right around the corner, Uncork’d Entertainment is getting in the creepy Christmas spirit with its recent acquisition of THE KILLING TREE. Set on Christmas Eve, this yuletide horror from filmmaker Rhys Frake-Waterfield (producer of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey) is the story of a scorned widow who uses black magic to resurrect her executed husband. Naturally, the spell goes wrong, and he comes back as an evil, sentient Christmas tree with a penchant for murder. Hellbent on revenge, the killer spruce goes on a bloody holiday rampage in search of the young woman responsible for his death.

“A super fun horror tale, with some great scares and devilish humor, THE KILLING TREE is undoubtedly going to be very popular with audiences,” said Keith Leopard, President Uncork’d Entertainment. “If you loved Krampus, you’ll want to put it on your must-see list.”

THE KILLING TREE debuts November 1 on digital. Click here to get a peak under the wrapping paper.
