Marriage leads to carnage in “OVER YOUR DEAD BODY,” with Samara Weaving; new red-band trailer & poster

The Audience Award winner from this year’s SXSW sees release later this month.

Independent Film Company brings OVER YOUR DEAD BODY to theaters everywhere April 24. Directed by Jorma Taccone from a script by Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney, it stars Jason Segel, Samara Weaving, Timothy Olyphant, Juliette Lewis, Paul Guilfoyle, Keith Jardine. The synopsis: “When miserable couple Dan [Segel] and Lisa [Weaving] retreat to a remote cabin for a romantic reset, each arrives with a secret plan to murder the other. Their carefully plotted traps and counterplots quickly unravel when a dangerous crew crashes the weekend with plans of their own. As the toxic getaway spirals into chaotic carnage, Dan and Lisa must survive the intruders, each other, and figure out if they want to save their marriage or survive it.”
