Trailer and poster for Lynchian “I LIVE HERE NOW,” sneak-previewing on “TWIN PEAKS Day”

Audiences nationwide can get an early look at the surreal psychochiller.

Utopia has announced that it will give I LIVE HERE NOW sneak-preview screenings at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas nationwide on TWIN PEAKS Day—Thursday, February 24. That’s appropriate for the sometimes hallucinatory feature debut of writer/director Julie Pacino, who shot the movie on 35mm with certain sequences filmed on 16mm, and cast PEAKS’ Sheryl Lee in a supporting role. The cast also includes Lucy Fry (VAMPIRE ACADEMY), Matt Rife, Madeline Brewer (CAM), Sarah Rich, Lara Clear and Cara Seymour; the synopsis: “In the surreal landscape of I LIVE HERE NOW, struggling actress Rose [Fry] finds her life upended by unexpected news. She’s suddenly forced to confront a future she never thought possible, just as a major career opportunity with top agent Cindy Abrams [Seymour] comes into view. Things spiral further when her casual boyfriend, Travis [Rife], brings his overbearing mother [Lee] into the fold, pushing Rose to the brink. She flees to The Crown Inn, a crumbling motel at the edge of nowhere, where time fractures and reality bends. Haunted by sleep paralysis, splintered memories, and eerie motel dwellers, especially the enigmatic Lillian [Brewer], Rose begins to unravel. To move forward, she must confront the buried truth of her past that her body has never forgotten.”
