Horror/comedy “THURSDAY THE 12TH” headed for roadshow release; exclusive photos, plus trailer

There’s a little Christmas too in the film described as “in the realm of EVIL DEAD meets MALLRATS with a touch of TUCKER & DALE VS. EVIL.”

Written, produced and directed by Brad Leo Lyon, THURSDAY THE 12TH also stars Lyon along with Brian Sutherland, Jena Sims, Marilyn Ghigliotti (CLERKS) and Todd Bridges (DIFF’RENT STROKES). The synopsis: “Life was already hard for Seth Franco [Lyon] and James Rogen [Sutherland], two failed film school grads still working the same jobs they had in high school even though they’re closing in on their 30s. However, things are about to get a lot worse for the pair after upsetting a Gypsy the week of Friday the 13th.”

Lyon will be hosting special showings of THURSDAY THE 12TH beginning this summer: “We’ll be touring the country doing advanced theatrical screenings,” he says, “followed by a Q&A in each city. The tour was originally slated for April of 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.” These sessions will be filmed for Lyon’s TV series ALSO IN THEATERS. You can find more details about the roadshow at THURSDAY THE 12TH’s website.
