Announcement: “Vampire: The Masquerade” Tabletop RPG Gets Some Fresh Blood

By DAKOTA DAHL

Odds are that you’ve already encountered some form of the Vampire: The Masquerade. They’ve been cranking out content for almost thirty years, giving us the fondly reviewed video games, beautifully weird LARPing games, oft-overlooked novels and a TV show floating around somewhere from the mid-90s. Well, all that can move over to make way for some fresh blood being injected into franchise. That’s right, the eldest vampire of the group, the classic tabletop RPG, can now be augmented with VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE-BLOOD SORCERY AND DISCIPLINE CARD DECKS from developer Modiphius.

Scheduled to ship in July if you pre-order them now, these bad boys come fully loaded with 121 fully coloured cards to outline blood sorcery, disciplines, and thin-blood alchemy to help streamline your game’s story. Each card has full descriptions of just what the hell is going on, plus a page reference to the core rule book for the more punctilious of us.

What’s that? You don’t want to wait until July because boredom is worse than death, especially when you are cursed with eternal life? Well, OK, if you pre-order now you also get immediate access to colour or black & white PDF versions of the cards for immediate use.

Although we won’t be doing much travelling at the moment, the decks also come with a handy duo tuckbox making for easy transportation when we finally do emerge from our basements to hide away in our friends’ basements instead and get back to gaming.

Pre-order your decks here.

I’d like to take this time to say thank you to all our continued readers, we appreciate every single one of you. Because we care about all of you, we strongly encourage you to keep up proper social distancing habits and wash your hands frequently.

I know that social distancing is going to hurt a lot of our readers who buy our magazine off shelves, so I’d like to take a moment to remind everyone that you can buy our magazine directly from our website. We sincerely want you to stay safe and we still need to keep our lights on (or our tomb’s sconces ablaze.)
