Following its premiere at London’s FrightFest, where it received four award nominations including Best Film, it sees release next month.

Level 33 Entertainment releases COLD MEAT in select theaters (listed below) and on VOD February 23. The feature directorial debut of award-winning short filmmaker and visual effects artist Sébastien Drouin, from a script he wrote with Andrew Desmond and James Kermack, it stars Allen Leech, Nina Bergman, Yan Tual, Riley Banzer, James Barton-Steel, Sydney Hendricks, William Kuklis, Kat Fullerton and Gil Botelho. The synopsis: “While passing through the Colorado Rockies, David [Leech] stops for a meal at a diner and ends up heroically saving a young waitress from her violent ex-husband. David hits the road again amid a dangerous blizzard, and one false move sends him into a ravine in the eye of the storm. Slowly running out of resources, it’s hard to tell what will get him first: the cold or the beast that’s prowling outside.”

COLD MEAT will open at the following theaters:

  • The Boedecker Theater, Boulder, Co
  • Cinema 14 Chatham Powered by Emagine, Chicago, IL
  • Emagine Woodhaven 10, Woodhaven, MI
