It’s the end of the world, and Daniel Roebuck of HALLOWEEN and TERRIFIER 3 is among those trying to survive.
Acorn Arts & Entertainment gave us the first look/listen to the preview (with some NSFW language) for their scripted podcast AMARYLLIS, which is set to debut this winter on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and all other major podcast platforms. Directed by Josie Eli Herman, who also scripted with producer Michael Alan Herman, it “follows a young insurrectionist as she struggles to find her way home at the end of the world.” The cast also includes Mabel Thomas and Shelby Bradley.
“At its core, the story is about humanity and connection between enemies,” says Josie Eli Herman. “While it’s a colorful kaleidoscope of action, intrigue, and sci-fi elements, we’re most excited about sharing these complex and fascinating characters, and how they affect and change each other.
