The lead of an Italian horror classic is now part of a new European genre production.

Yes, Irene Miracle, who headlined Dario Argento’s INFERNO, has come aboard GAME OF DEATH–THE SIX DOORS TO HELL, which we previously told you about here. Directed by German shock specialist Timo Rose from a script he wrote with Nando Rohner, it stars David Ruessel, Deena Unverzagt, Carlos Nikolai Campagna and Annelie Harner; other genre vets making appearances include filmmakers Jack Sholder, Brian Yuzna and the late Jeff Burr, and actors Lynne Griffin, John Dugan, Elizabeth Shepherd and Norbert Weisser. The synopsis: “In the near future, ‘The Regime’ is the worldwide government. They oppress the weak, torture them and kill them. Only the strong survive. The story begins with Ken Shiro sitting at his daughter’s grave and vowing revenge. Suddenly a mysterious figure appears and tells him that his daughter is in hell. Determined, Ken Shiro sets out to find the gate to hell and save his daughter…whatever it takes.”

As Miracle notes in her video, her credits also include the original PUPPET MASTER and the classic MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, and she has also appeared in NIGHT TRAIN MURDERS (a.k.a. LAST STOP ON THE NIGHT TRAIN and NEW HOUSE ON THE LEFT), IN THE SHADOW OF KILIMANJARO and WATCHERS II.
