Distributor Uncork’d Entertainment has just announced that it has acquired KINGDOM OF THE DINOSAURS by writer-director Scott Jeffrey (Cupid, Mummy Reborn). Not the typical cavemen vs. thunder lizards or Jurassic Park-style dino picture, KINGDOM OF THE DINOSAURS takes place in the not-too-far-off year of 2030. As World War III rages, a small group of survivors takes refuge in a bunker. Two years later, they emerge to find a post-apocalyptic wasteland overrun with giant prehistoric reptiles. Mark Haldor, Darcie Rose and Chelsea Greenwood star.

KINGDOM OF THE DINOSAURS is the latest collaboration between Jeffrey and Uncork’d Entertainment which has released several of the filmmaker’s projects, including the recent dinosaur-themed feature Jurassic Island.

“Another fun and frightening film from director Scott Jeffrey, KINGDOM OF THE DINOSAURS encompasses plenty of Jurassic thrills and spills,” says Keith Leopard, President of Uncork’d Entertainment. “We expect audiences will have a hoot with this one when it hits in September.”

Producers Scott Jeffrey and Rhys Waterfield of Jagged Edge Productions negotiated the deal on behalf of the film team with Keith Leopard of Uncork’d Entertainment.

KINGDOM OF THE DINOSAURS from Uncork’d Entertainment will be released on digital and DVD on September 6. Click here to see the trailer!
