A night terror visits in the movie currently making the festival rounds.
NO WITNESSES, the seventh feature written and directed by Joshua Brucker for Horror Dadz Productions, recently won the Horror Haven Award at the 2026 Horror Haven Film Expo. It stars Berkeley Slightom and Hunter Nino; the synopsis: “NO WITNESSES depicts the days leading up to the disappearance of Hannah Jones [Slightom], a young woman looking for a fresh start in rural Illinois. On August 4, 2024, Hannah vanished without a trace. Despite an extensive ground search and detailed interviews with friends and family, she was never located. Officials were left with no leads, no suspects, no incriminating evidence, and no witnesses.”
“This film encapsulates everything I love about found-footage horror and pseudo-documentaries,” Brucker says. “I believe it brings the right amount of tension, dread, mystery, and horror that makes those sub-genres so appealing and compelling.”
