Scary “CLOSE CALLS” in new indie chiller; first news, poster

P.J. Starks, producer of the VOLUMES OF BLOOD anthologies, got in touch with the first details and the latest poster for his latest project, CLOSE CALLS, a “psychedelic terror” opus set for release this coming spring.

Starks served as associate producer on CLOSE CALLS, which was written, produced and directed by Richard Stringham of S & Drive Pictures. Jordan Phipps, Greg Fallon (another associate producer), Carmen Patterson, Kristof Waltermire, Janis Duley, Star McCann and Landen Matt star. According to the official synopsis, “CLOSE CALLS features a troubled teen girl, Morgan [Phipps], who is forced to stay home and tend to her crazy grandma [Duley] after being grounded by her father. But when Daddy leaves for a dinner date, Morgan’s paranoia heightens as she starts receiving several disturbing phone calls while dealing with Gramma. Between all the phone calls, the drugs she has taken, and surprise visits from some unexpected guests, Morgan now thinks everyone around her is out to kill her. And to make matters worse…she keeps forgetting to give Gramma her meds.” Look for more on CLOSE CALLS at this site soon!
