The Canadian production is getting closer to completion and release.
We first told you about UNSEEN here (with exclusive comments), and now comes word from writer/director Steve Merlo that the movie has received a distribution commitment from BayView Entertainment, which will release it on streaming platforms upon its completion. The film stars Trinity Chase, Brett Wagner, Katerina Khramova, Jaime Hill (Mom in SKINAMARINK) and Adam Ginsberg as the voice of the “Unseen Man.” The synopsis: “In the aftermath of an unknown disaster, a mentally unstable man attempts to satisfy his conscience while tormenting a woman with an abusive past.”
“Steve’s skill in taking an audience through a psychological rollercoaster where the terrors inside the mind are just as visceral as those outside the mind truly floored us,” says BayView president Peter Castro. “Like all great horror films do, we know viewers will get rattled by UNSEEN.”
Merlo currently has an Indiegogo campaign running to help see the film to completion; you can check it out here and see a teaser trailer below “We’ve built up a robust fan base with our previous films [including THE SAWYER MASSACRE],” he says, “and now we’re reaching out to ask for their support in pushing our latest over the finish line. It has all the elements they’ve come to expect, to make them scream in terror while being wholly engrossed.”
