It’s the first release from the revamped Hammer Films.

DOCTOR JEKYLL will have a red-carpet premiere October 11 at London’s Odeon Leicester Square, followed by a UK theatrical release October 27. A North American debut has yet to be announced. Directed by Joe Stephenson from a script by Dan Kelly-Mulhern, this latest modern take on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic THE STRANGE CASE OF DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE stars Eddie Izzard in the title roles, Scott Chambers, Lindsay Duncan and Simon Callow. The synopsis: “When ex-convict Rob [Chambers] takes the carer position to the infamous Nina Jekyll [Izzard], little does he know he’s part of an evil master plan devised by her alter ego Rachel Hyde [also Izzard]. But to what lengths will Rob go to satisfy his client’s weird wishes and his own ambitions for the daughter he has never even seen?”
