The actor will be taking on bloodsuckers this summer.

DAY SHIFT has been set for a Netflix premiere August 12. Directed by J.J. Perry, a veteran stuntman/coordinator and 2nd unit director making his debut at the helm, from a script by Tyler Tice and ARMY OF THE DEAD’s Shay Hatten, it stars Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco, Karla Souza, Meagan Good, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Snoop Dogg, Steve Howey, Scott Adkins and Zion Broadnax. The synopsis: “Jamie Foxx stars as a hard-working blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool-cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an international Union of vampire hunters.”
