On August 24th-26th, Indianapolis and Horrorhound Weekend will play host to “the most astounding monster maker event of the year,” Mask Fest! This convention-within-a-convention celebrates and champions the artistry of masks, makeup, and monsters, by gathering as many of the greatest independent artists as possible in one place!
Christopher Nelson (HOSTEL, LAND OF THE DEAD), and the immortal Tom Savini (DAWN OF THE DEAD, CREEPSHOW) will be in attendance as well as countless other purveyors of all things creepy at this celebration of handmade frights. Now in its tenth year, Mask Fest promises more mind-blowing props, costumes, makeup fx, models, and monstrous goodies than ever before!
As if this weren’t enough, Horrorhound Weekend has gone out of its way this year to assemble a kickass lineup of celebrity guests, including Kiefer Sutherland (THE LOST BOYS), Bruce Campbell (ASH VS EVIL DEAD), Billy and Lisa Zane (TALES FROM THE CRYPT: DEMON KNIGHT, FREDDY’S DEAD: THE FINAL NIGHTMARE) and the pint-sized cast of 2017’s IT. This is a shriek-worthy weekend that you won’t want to miss!
