The acclaimed director’s stalker chiller is about to look and sound better than ever–and in black-and-white, too.
Scream Factory is giving HUSH its physical-media debut as a four-disc 4K UHD/Blu-ray set, arriving November 26. The centerpiece will be a newly restored 4K transfer of the movie supervised and approved by director Mike Flanagan, accompanied by a new version called the “Shush Cut,” presenting the film in black and white with a fresh audio mix (removing nearly all of the score for a different, equally frightening experience). Flanagan scripted HUSH with its star Kate Siegel, and the cast also includes John Gallagher Jr. (10 CLOVERFIELD LANE), Samantha Sloyan (MIDNIGHT MASS) and Michael Trucco (THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER). Siegel plays Maddie Young, a deaf and mute writer living alone in a house deep in the woods, who comes under attack by a mysterious masked killer and must fight for her life.
