Diana (Jemma Redgrave) is an affluent bride-to-be wracked with anxiety over her impending nuptials. After moving into a sprawling London house, she begins to experience strange and horrific night terrors. Harried by a couple of sleazy journalists (Timothy Spall and Jimmy Nail), Diana has a chance encounter with Jenny (Kathleen Wilhoite), an edgy American tourist who may hold the key to unlocking the secret connection between Diana’s new home and her blood-curdling dreams.
Totally absent on home media since its original VHS release, DREAM DEMON is a visionary slice of psychological horror dripping with late ’80s practical gore effects. Arrow has newly restored the film from the original camera negative in a brand spanking new Director’s Cut with heaps of bonus material to round out the package.
