First teaser trailer, poster and image (and single) released for “SMILE 2”

There’s a musical side to the mayhem in the much-anticipated sequel.

Paramount Pictures releases SMILE 2 to theaters October 18. Parker Finn returns from the sleeper hit original as writer/director, and the cast is headed by Naomi Scott, Rosemarie DeWitt, Kyle Gallner (returning from the first film), Lukas Gage, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Peter Jacobson, Raúl Castillo, Dylan Gelula and Ray Nicholson. The synopsis: “About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley [Scott] begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control.” In addition to the teaser trailer, poster and image seen here, Paramount has released Skye’s single “Blood on White Satin” here, and you can follow her on Instagram.
