The sequel premieres a few weeks ahead of Halloween.
Tubi will exclusively debut R.L. STINE’S PUMPKINHEAD 2 October 9, as part of its “Terror on Tubi” lineup. Written and directed by Jem Garrard, based on Stine’s classic THE HAUNTING HOUR, it stars Bean Reid, Adeline Lo, Cassandra (Elvira) Peterson, Matty Finochio, Sebastian Billingsley-Rodriguez, Bob Frazer, Seth Isaac Johnson and Kendra Anderson. The synopsis: “R.L. STINE’S PUMPKINHEAD 2 follows Sam [Reid] and Becka [Lo] as they race to stop a newPumpkinhead curse from claiming the entire town of Redhaven.”
“R.L. Stine and I have been in the business of scaring kids for a long time,” Peterson says, “so joining PUMPKINHEAD 2 was such a treat. Playing Cassandra was the perfect ‘witchy’ role for me.”
