The star of the much-anticipated new chiller was just as scared as audiences will be.

Check out the clip below revealing just how fast Maika Monroe’s heart was beating when she first encountered Nicolas Cage in the title role of LONGLEGS, opening Friday from Neon. Written and directed by Osgood Perkins, it also stars Blair Underwood, Alicia Witt, Michelle Choi-Lee, Dakota Daulby, Lauren Acala and Kiernan Shipka. Monroe plays FBI agent Lee Harker, who takes the case of Longlegs, who is apparently responsible for a series of family murders and has left cryptic, coded messages at the scenes of the crimes. You can see our review of LONGLEGS here and read about the movie in RUE MORGUE #219, now on sale.
