Milan Records has confirmed a vinyl pressing of the score to Resident Evil, composed by Hays Holladay and Ryan Holladay for Zach Cregger‘s theatrical reinvention of Capcom’s survival-horror franchise. The LP lands January 29, 2027, on 140-gram red-smoked vinyl with a printed sleeve and 12-by-12-inch insert, priced at $34.98 and open for preorder now through Milan Records.
Cregger’s Resident Evil, which Sony Pictures put in theaters on September 18, reworks the video-game mythology around a single catastrophic night in Raccoon City, following a medical courier played by Austin Abrams as the outbreak closes in around him, alongside Zach Cherry, Kali Reis, and Paul Walter Hauser.
The Holladay brothers, previously behind the scores for Weapons and Roommates, built a 28-track score leaning on synth pulses, brass, and vocal texture; two cues, “Main Titles Extended” and “Skybridge Reprise,” feature guest vocals from Aaron Esposito and Shannon Lay respectively. The digital and streaming release arrived alongside the film on September 18; the vinyl edition is the belated physical follow-up.
