A transfusion of vampires adds a little extra bite to the sharksploitation genre.
From writer/director Mark Polonia, creator of SHARKENSTEIN, LAND SHARK, SHARK ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, VIRUS SHARK and NOAH’S SHARK, comes SHARKULA, which Wild Eye Releasing will unleash in June. It stars Jeff Kirkendall as Dracula, Kyle Rappaport as Renfield, Jamie Morgan as Mina, Natalie Himmelberger, James Kelly and Titus Himmelberger. The synopsis: “The curse of Count Dracula lives on in shark-infested waters, claiming the lives of a tourist community. A sea hunt for the new species results in monsters, madness and bloodshed. This great white is putting the bite back into terror, and it has help with the aid of new vampires intent on seeing it survive.”
I love the idea of a Shark Dracula. The acting in the clip is terrible.
