Genre fave Dee Wallace tangles with terror toys in DOLLS, which sees release this summer. We’ve got the info along with the exclusive first look at the trailer and new key art.

Uncork’d Entertainment releases DOLLS on VOD and DVD July 2. Feature first-timer Cuyle Carvin directed from a screenplay by Justin Hawkins and Josh Hawkins; Jeff Miller (THE TOYBOX) also contributed to the story. According to the official synopsis, “DOLLS concerns a struggling children’s book author and his rebellious teenage daughter who move into a house they’ve inherited and find mysterious dolls in the attic. They soon learn that the dolls have a sinister—and deadly—past. Wallace plays a neighbor who knows about the dolls and their ties to the house.” The cast also includes Trinity Simpson, Tom Downey, Bret Green, Elise Muller, Melinda deKay and Robert R. Ryel; Miller produced with Robert Michael Ryan, and Veronica Rodarte handled the makeup effects.

“It’s my second film in just over a year with Dee Wallace” after last year’s OUIJA HOUSE, Miller says, “and she truly is an American treasure. DOLLS will be a creepy addition to her résumé and is an impressive feature debut for my friend Cuyle Carvin.” You can find out more about DOLLS at its Facebook page.
