World-premiering at next month’s Arrow Video FrightFest, the new lycanthropicture sees wider exposure this fall.
Mutiny Pictures has acquired I AM LISA, the fourth feature by director Patrick Rea (NAILBITER), and will release it to select theaters and PVOD October 9. Described as GINGER SNAPS meets I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, the film was scripted by Eric Winkler and stars Kristen Vaganos, Jennifer Seward, Manon Halliburton, Carmen Anello and Chris Blysma. The synopsis: “When Lisa [Vaganos], a local loser, is left to die by a sadistic, small-town sheriff and her underlings, she is bitten by a creature of the night and is bestowed with supernatural abilities. Lisa must then exact revenge on those who have wronged her while doing her best to retain her humanity.”
