Toronto, Canada – Black Fawn Distribution is thrilled to announce that they will be releasing the retro horror-comedy hit Vicious Fun on Blu-ray across Canada this April. Starring Evan Marsh (Shazam!), Amber Goldfarb (Netflix’s Sex/Life), Ari Millen (The Oak Room), Julian Richings (TV’s Supernatural), Robert Maillet (300, Becky), Sean Baek (TV’s Blood and Water), and comedy legend David Koechner (Cheap Thrills, Anchorman), the VICIOUS FUN Blu-ray is set to drop on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
Shot in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, VICIOUS FUN was directed by Cody Calahan, produced by Chad Archibald and Calahan, and written by James Villeneuve. The film follows Joel (Evan Marsh), a caustic 1980’s film critic for a national horror magazine, who finds himself unwittingly trapped in a self-help group for serial killers. With no other choice, Joel must attempt to blend in with his homicidal surroundings or risk becoming the next victim.
The VICIOUS FUN Blu-ray comes chocked-full with special features including an extensive filmmaker commentary, deleted scenes and alternate takes, blooper reel, a behind-the-scenes featurette and photo gallery, script to screen featurette, and the film’s trailer.
In addition to the standard release of the film, Black Fawn Distribution has also brought back their popular limited edition BLACKLIST packages which will feature a Blu-ray copy of VICIOUS FUN signed by director Cody Calahan, a limited edition VHS-style retro slipcase, a set of 7 character cards featuring the stars of the film, a limited edition VICIOUS FUN iron-on woven patch, a pair of VICIOUS FUN branded chopsticks, a “Bob Nice Chameleon Kit” and more!
