If you’re not familiar with Chiang Mai spirit houses, a new project coming to Kickstarter hopes to broaden your perspectives in the most hauntingly beautiful way imaginable.
LANNA WHISPERS is year-long expedition documenting the small, ornate shrines found outside homes, businesses and other buildings throughout Thailand. A passion-driven, creative collaboration from co-creators Stephen Portman and Rio “Jay” Crane, the book will be published in both English and Thai and promises to reflect the beauty of these sacred structures. Current plans call for six different ways to support the book, which includes digital and limited-edition slipcased deluxe offerings.
