The director of GREEN ROOM + our favorite holiday is a pretty winning combo.
A24 has released a new trailer for its “run-like-hell thriller” SLAYGROUND, offering a better sense of the storyline than the previously issued teaser. Coming exclusively to theaters January 29, it was written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier and stars Cory Michael Smith, Chase Sui Wonders (BODIES BODIES BODIES), Sophie Wilde, James Badge Dale (THE EMPY MAN), Stanley Simons, Stephen Root, Chris Sullivan, Young Mazino, Imogen Poots (VIVARIUM, 28 WEEKS LATER), Matty Matheson and Macon Blair (THE TOXIC AVENGER). The synopsis: “Scare-actor ‘Metal Mike’ Graves wakes up in a haunted attraction surrounded by the dead bodies of his co-workers with no memory of how they got there. As a state-wide manhunt closes in, he races to uncover the truth—even if the trail leads straight back to him.”
