The lullaby cover specialists at Rockabye Baby! are easing into the spooky season with Rockabye Baby! Halloween, a new instrumental collection that strips six Halloween and horror adjacent staples down to soft, sleep ready arrangements.
The tracklist leans on songs that have become Halloween staples: Danny Elfman’s “This Is Halloween” from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ray Parker Jr.‘s theme from Ghostbusters, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins‘s “I Put a Spell on You,” the title track from Oingo Boingo’s Dead Man’s Party, The Ramones’ “Pet Sematary” and The Doors’ “People Are Strange.” Whether the full release holds further surprises beyond these six has not been confirmed.
Rockabye Baby! Halloween is available for preorder now at $9.99 through Rockabye Baby’s official site, which notes the collection will also be available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
