OBSESSION is coming exclusively to theaters May 15, 2026 from Focus Features and Blumhouse. Written and directed by Curry Barker of the popular, microbudget MILK & SERIAL, the film won raves at TIFF and Fantastic Fest as well as the People’s Choice Award at the Sitges Film Festival. Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless and Andy Richter star; the synopsis: “After breaking the mysterious ‘One Wish Willow’ to win his crush’s heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.” Barker will follow up with Blumhouse and Spooky Pictures’ ANYTHING BUT GHOSTS, which he’ll direct from a script he’s co-writing with Cooper Tomlinson; the two will also star.
