German genre specialist RIP-Independent has released the trailer for its latest production, KITO: ZOMBIES UND KANNIBALEN (KITO: ZOMBIES AND CANNIBALS). Shot on Super-8 film for that grainy, gritty look, it was written and directed by Ralf Möllenhoff and stars Rocco Finamore, June Schmiedinghoff, Carsten Grunwald, Luke Romero Möllenhoff, Florian Klapetz, Ines Hagedorn, Kerstin Schulte Tockhaus and Nikita Vasilchenko, with makeup effects by Headhunter FX. The synopsis: “After amateur photos show that the body of a well-known doctor was eaten by apparently primitive locals on the unexplored island of Kito, an expedition group sets off immediately. No sooner have they arrived than contact with the mission station there is lost…”
