Korean disaster/horror film “PROJECT SILENCE” gets a U.S. release date and a pretty spectacular trailer

Lee Sun-kyun, the late star of PARASITE and SLEEP, toplines this mix of action and atmosphere.
Capelight Pictures has announced a U.S. theatrical release of July 12 for PROJECT SILENCE, directed by Tae-gon Kim. Scripted by Kim, Yong-hwa Kim and Joo-Suk Park, it also stars Ju Ji-hoon, Kim Hee-won, Moon Sung-Keun, Ye Soo-jung, Kim Tae-woo, Park Hee-bon, Park Ju-hyun and Kim Su-an (TRAIN TO BUSAN). According to the official synopsis, “The film takes place on South Korea’s famously long cable-stayed Incheon Grand Bridge where a thick fog causes a massive chain automobile crash, causing an overnight lockdown where an unknown beast is unleashed.”
