FRANKENCON 2024 To Feature “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and “Thanksgiving” Reunions

If your idea of a good time is spending a weekend hobnobbing with horror celebrities while beefing up your autograph and merch collections, then circle May 10 and 11 on your calendar and make plans to visit Alcoa, Tennessee. ORBIT DVD PRESENTS FRANKENCON 2024 is the third annual iteration of East Tennessee’s premiere fan festival, and this year’s guest lineup brings together a mix of contemporary genre stars and longtime favorites, including:

  • Texas Chainsaw Massacre reunion with original cast members John Dugan, William Vail and Allen Danziger
  • Stars from Eli Roth’s 2023 hit Thanksgiving, including John Carver himself, Alex Armbruster
  • A trio of scream queens, featuring Linnea Quigley, Michelle Bauer and Brinke Stevens of the cult classic Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama
  • Brian Bremer (PumpkinheadSociety)
  • An extremely rare appearance by Frank Saladino (Sleepaway Camp)
  • A host of other guests, vendors, artists and indie filmmakers

Although in its formative years, FrankenCon’s organizers have demonstrated their prowess in delivering a fan-first event with an approach that keeps the convention at the top of “can’t miss” lists for attendees and celebrities alike. This year’s event continues the tradition of providing a public outlet for indie filmmakers, with the third annual FrankenFilm Fest along with a costume contest for cosplayers to display their creepy flair. And rounding out the festivities is the FrankenConcert from Hell, headlined by John Wayne is Dead and free to all ticket holders.

The Hilton Knoxville Airport will once again play host to FrankenCon. Providing state-of-the-art sound systems, premium audiovisual displays and plenty of on-site parking, the venue offers an intimate setting for fans to interact with their favorite guests while remaining spacious enough for those perusing the many vendors. Super VIP tickets have already sold out, but a handful of VIP passes and general admission tickets remain, and children under 12 are admitted free with a paying adult.
