New trailer, exclusive photos: Women with a vengeance in “GET MY GUN”

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, or one in the grip of obsessive mania. Both are showcased in the new trailer for the independent shocker GET MY GUN that you can see past the jump, along with a couple of exclusive pics.

Written and directed by Brian Darwas and produced by Jennifer Carchietta, GET MY GUN was shot in the New York City area with a largely female cast and crew (including cinematographer Mary Perrino and makeup effects artist Beatrice Sniper). Made in the spirit of 1980s horror and exploitation films, it has won praise from several festival screenings and is currently seeking distribution. Kate Hoffman stars as Amanda, a hotel worker who is viciously assaulted by a male creep (William Jousset) in one of the rooms. She winds up pregnant and bent on revenge—and in the sights of a disturbed woman (Rosanne Rubino) with an agenda of her own. Christy Casey also stars; check out the movie’s official website, Facebook page and Instagram.
