Walk the “DEVIL’S TRAIL” today; release info, trailer, poster

Henrique Couto, indie director of BABYSITTER MASSACRE, SCAREWAVES and AMITYVILLE: NO ESCAPE, now tackles the Jersey Devil legend with his latest feature DEVIL’S TRAIL, releasing today. Read on for the info, the trailer and poster.

Scripted by Jeremy Biltz, DEVIL’S TRAIL stars Couto and John Hambrick as a pair of reality-TV stars who specialize in survival shows, and confront their greatest challenge when they venture into the Jersey Devil’s woods. It’s now available to stream at Amazon Prime and on DVD; the latter lists for $16.66, is autographed by Couto and presents the movie uncut (the Prime version has nudity blurred to fulfill the site’s restrictions), with the following extras:

  • Audio commentary
  • Behind-the-scenes featurette
  • Henrique Couto trailer vault

Couto tells us, “I am thrilled to not only push into uncharted territory for myself with the concept and execution of the film, but also with its distribution, as this is the first time I’ve ever had a film announced the same day it hits DVD and Amazon Prime. DEVIL’S TRAIL is the kind of simply scary film that fans always enjoy.” You can find the Prime and DVD order links at the movie’s official website.
