A stylish but unheralded entry in the ’70s giallo stakes, WATCH ME WHEN I KILL will cut its way to prominence when it arrives on Blu-ray this fall, newly remastered in 4K. Read on for all the info and the disc art!
Synapse Films will release WATCH ME WHEN I KILL (a.k.a. IL GATTO DAGLI OCCHI DI GIADA) October 29, with a DVD edition available as well. Directed by Antonio Bido (BLOODSTAINED SHADOW), the movie stars Corrado Pani, Paola Tedesco, Franco Citti, Fernando Cerulli and Giuseppe Addobbati. “The synopsis: Mara [Tedesco], a beautiful young nightclub dancer, witnesses a brutal murder and soon finds herself stalked by an animalistic killer! While enlisting the help of her boyfriend Lukas [Pani] to track down and stop the maniac, the mystery surrounding the killings is slowly uncovered. As more bodies are found and secrets are uncovered, the truth behind the masked slasher is much more horrifying than anyone could imagine!”
The film will be presented in anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen (1080p on the Blu-ray), with DTS-HD MA English and 2.0 mono English and Italian soundtracks on the Blu-ray and Dolby Digital 2.0 mono English and Italian audio on the DVD, with optional English subtitles for the Italian tracks. The disc will come with reversible cover art (see below) and the following extras:
