Horror-star-packed “DEATH HOUSE” gets release date; trailer and poster

Described as “THE EXPENDABLES of horror” for the multitude of genre names in its cast, DEATH HOUSE is headed for release in November. Jump past the jump for the details, trailer and poster.

Directed by Harrison Smith, DEATH HOUSE was originated by the late Gunnar Hansen, who appears in the movie and shares screenplay credit with Smith. Arriving on multiple VOD platforms November 6 and DVD December 11 from Cleopatra Entertainment after nabbing Best Feature awards at Syracuse’s Scare-A-Con Film Festival and the Central Florida Film Festival, it also features Adrienne Barbeau, Bill Moseley, Kane Hodder, Tony Todd, Dee Wallace, Barbara Crampton, Sid Haig, Cody Longo, Cortney Palm, Michael Berryman, Vincent Ward, Felissa Rose, Camille Keaton, Vernon Wells, Lindsay Hartley and Lloyd Kaufman. The synopsis: “The film follows the events that unfold inside a secret prison, known as Death House, after a power breakdown during an exclusive tour. Two agents are forced to fight through a labyrinth of horrors while being pursued by a ruthless army of roaming inmates. As they fight to escape, the agents push toward the lowest depths of the facility where they learn a supernatural group of evil beings is their only chance for survival.”
