You can pick up Frank Henenlotter’s “FRANKENHOOKER” on 4K from Synapse; details & art

Synapse Films has Frank Henenlotter’s outrageous horror/comedy FRANKENHOOKER coming on a 4K + 1080p Blu-ray edition, streeting April 7. Pre-orders are open now at the Synapse website and a few other genre-specific outlets like DiabolikDVD and Orbit DVD. James Lorinz (STREET TRASH), Penthouse Pet of the Year Patty Mullen, Louise Lasser (BLOOD RAGE), Shirley Stoler (THE HONEYMOON KILLERS) and Jennifer Delora (DEADLY MANOR) star; the synopsis: “When Jeffrey Franken’s fiancée [Mullen] is chopped to pieces by the blades of a remote-controlled lawnmower, Jeffrey [Lorinz] uses his dubious medical knowledge to try to bring her back to life. Using his home-made explosive ‘Super Crack’ to entice beautiful New York City prostitutes, Jeffrey resurrects his beloved Elizabeth using their assorted body parts. Unfortunately for him, Elizabeth’s brain is scrambled and she runs amok on 42nd Street, turning tricks and bringing high-voltage death to her customers!”

The uncut film is presented on the region-free discs in an all-new 2025 4K Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) restoration from original 35mm vault materials, with a newly remastered 5.1 surround sound mix (original English 2.0 sound mix also included). The set comes packaged in a limited-edition side-loading chipboard slipcase with artwork from Sean Longmore and Joel Robinson, with reversible original poster case artwork. Special features are:
