Trailer, UK poster emerge for IFC Midnight’s “GHOST STORIES”; U.S. date set

The British anthology chiller GHOST STORIES has been winning raves, and the new trailer makes it look pretty damn spooky. Check it out after the jump, along with the UK quad poster that was also unveiled today.

IFC Midnight releases GHOST STORIES to select theaters and VOD April 20; Lionsgate has it for Britain, where it opens April 13. Andy Nyman (who also appears as Professor Goodman) and Jeremy Dyson wrote and directed based on their play; Edgar Wright favorite Martin Freeman, Paul Whitehouse, Alex Lawther, Jill Halfpenny, Nicholas Burns, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith and Daniel Hill co-star. The synopsis: “Professor Goodman, a psychologist and skeptic, who has his rationality tested when he stumbles across a long-lost file containing details of three terrifying hauntings. He then embarks on a mission to find rational explanations for the ghostly happenings.”
