Acclaimed creature performer Javier Botet ([REC], MAMA, CRIMSON PEAK) shows his true face in this Spanish psychological creeper.

Dekanalog and Raven Banner are bringing AMIGO, which played Fantastic Fest and Sitges, to U.S. and Canadian theaters tomorrow, December 2. Botet co-stars with short-filmmaking partner and comedic actor David Pareja, and the duo scripted the movie with Óscar Martín, who also directed. The cast additionally includes Patricia Estremera, Esther Gimeno and Luichi Macías; the synopsis: “After a violent accident, the good-natured David [Pareja] decides to accommodate and care for his best friend, Javi [Botet]. But as the two of them begin arguing, the truth about their toxic, homicidal relationship bubbles to the surface–and madness soon takes hold.”

You can read exclusive comments from Botet about his role as Dracula in the upcoming THE LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER here.
