THE HOLLOW PARACON & FILM FEST is capping off summerween with a hybrid paranormal and indie horror event – and it’s all for a good cause.
The annual event will haunt the halls of Stockton University in Galloway, NJ on Saturday, August 22, with a full day of celebrity signings, panels, workshops and film screenings. Guests on hand will include names recognizable to both the realms of the paranormal and horror, including:
- Michael C. Williams of the original Blair Witch Project
- “The Paranormal Princess” Haley Michelle
- Daryl Marston, star of A&E’s Ghost Hunters
- Michelle Belanger, prolific author of more than 35 books, including The Dictionary of Demons
- Documentarian and cryptozoologist Mike Familant
THE HOLLOW PARACON & FILM FEST is built on a bedrock of supporting others, with proceeds benefitting both The Trevor Project and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Organizers say the event was created not only to celebrate horror and the paranormal community, but also to foster connection, inclusion and healing.
Aside from snapping selfies and scoring autos, attendees can also partake in an assortment of workshops, providing the opportunity to learn more about paranormal investigations, special effects techniques and the filmmaking process. Rounding out the event will be a feature presentation of The Point Pleasant Tapes, a found-footage discourse on the legend of The Mothman.
