Terror Stalks a New Mother in “ADALYNN” Trailer

In the tradition of The Babadook and this year’s hit Huesera: The Bone Woman, ADALYNN from director Jacob “Jake” Boyd is the latest horror film to explore the downside (and the downright scary side) of motherhood. Sydney Carvill (Keep in the Dark) stars as a new mom consumed with postpartum depression. Convinced that someone (or some thing) is stalking her and her newborn child, she must battle both emotional turmoil and a terrifying threat that may or may not be real. Wade Baker (Airliner Sky Battle) and Janet Carter (Revenge for My Mother) also star.

Crossing the lines between horror, fantasy, the paranormal and the occult, co-producer Straw Weisman describes ADALYNN as “an arthouse psychological thriller with shocking twists.”

“I don’t want to scare you. I want to scar you,” says Jake Byrd. “ADALYNN  tells a powerful story exploring the ideas of postpartum depression, grief, fear and more, and I am excited to distribute this film through Summer Hill Films.”

ADALYNN from Summer Hill Films arrives on digital and DVD on March 28. For a preview of the blessed event, check out the exclusive trailer below.
