The director of WE ARE STILL HERE explores the dark side of American history in his follow-up film MOHAWK, which has won raves on the fest circuit and is now set for Blu-ray/DVD release this spring. Read on for the details and cover art.

Dark Sky Films will issue MOHAWK, directed by Geoghegan from a script he wrote with Grady Hendrix (author of MY BEST FRIEND’S EXORCISM and PAPERBACKS FROM HELL), on both disc formats April 10. Reuniting Geoghegan with cinematographer Karim Hussain, makeup effects creator Marcus Koch, composer Wojciech Golczewski and producer Travis Stevens, MOHAWK stars Kaniehtiio Horn (THE THEATRE BIZARRE), Justin Rain (FEAR THE WALKING DEAD), Eamon Farren (TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN), Ezra Buzzington (THE HILLS HAVE EYES), Ian Colletti (PREACHER), Noah Segan (THE MIND’S EYE, STARRY EYES), Jonathan Huber (a.k.a. WWE superstar Luke Harper) and Robert Longstreet. The synopsis: “After one of her tribe sets an American camp ablaze, a young Mohawk warrior [Horn] finds herself pursued by a contingent of military renegades set on revenge. Fleeing deep into the woods they call home, Oak and Calvin [Rain], along with their British companion Joshua [Farren], must now fight back against the bloodthirsty Colonel Holt [Buzzington] and his soldiers—using every resource both real and supernatural that the winding forest can offer.”

Sadly, there are no special features, though the discs will feature the reversible cover art seen below. Visit MOHAWK’s official website, and check out our review and interviews with the filmmakers and the cast.
