The domestic supernatural chiller will make its streaming debut this summer.
Shudder has announced its acquisition of THE VOICES OF OUR MOTHER, and will debut it exclusively in the U.S., U.K., Australia and New Zealand. The film, which makes its North American premiere this Saturday at Panic Fest, Mark O’Brien wrote, directed and stars in the film, which also features Sheila McCarthy (ANTIVIRAL, ANYTHING FOR JACKSON), Georgina Reilly (PONTYPOOL), Carolina Bartczak, Alex Ozerov-Meyer and Anna Ferguson. The synopsis: “The film follows Harriet Scaflen [McCarthy] after the death of her mother at the age of 95. Harriet then has an unexplainable health scare, bringing her four estranged children to the family home to care for her. As their past animosities and secrets are revealed, they soon realize their mother’s health issues may be supernatural, and the awoken evil inside her is seeking revenge on her children for her own survival.”
