Poster and premiere date revealed for Netflix’s “ARMY OF THE DEAD”

Director Zack Snyder’s return to undead territory will invade the streamer in early summer.

Netflix has announced that ARMY OF THE DEAD will premiere May 21. Snyder, who previously helmed the DAWN OF THE DEAD remake, also scripted with Shay Hatten and Joby Harold. Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Garret Dillahunt, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, Samantha Win, Richard Cetrone, Michael Cassidy. The synopsis: “Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”
