Outrageous stop-motion action/horror satire “CHUCK STEEL: NIGHT OF THE TRAMPIRES” sees release next week

At last, the animated explosion of blood, wisecracks and bad taste will be available for wide consumption.

It was announced today at the Facebook page for CHUCK STEEL: NIGHT OF THE TRAMPIRES that the movie will be available for digital download in the U.S. and Canada March 1 and Australia March 2. It’ll be carried on platforms including Amazon, iTunes, YouTube, Google Play and others, will a full list of links to be posted at Facebook on the 1st. A hit at festivals a few years back, where it won raves (including ours), CHUCK STEEL is a tribute to over-the-top ’80s action and horror fare and an unabashed, often hilarious revel in extreme violence and political incorrectness. Mike Mort wrote and directed, and also leads the voice cast that additionally includes Jennifer Saunders, Paul Whitehouse and others. The synopsis: “It’s not 1985 anymore…it’s 1986, and Chuck Steel is ‘the best God damn cop on the force.’ But even this maverick, renegade, loose-cannon, lone wolf, cop on the edge, who doesn’t play by the rules, has his work cut out when he discovers an evil is about to descend on the city of Los Angeles: the scourge of the TRAMPIRES–mutant hybrids of vampire and tramp!
