Thursday, February 13, 2020 | Announcement

In 2017, Rue Morgue alumni, Moaner T. Lawrence  proposed an online writing group for to the Horror Writers Association. The 10-week program, dubbed Fright Club, caters to amateur and seasoned writers alike, and, unlike most writing workshops and programs, Fright Club focuses exclusively on the horror genre. With over twenty publications to date, and immense demand for the workshop, Fright Club has been re-organized under a private company, Moanaria – which is now accepting applications from the general public.

Public applications cost $300 with plus a $50 deposit to ensure that members complete their work on time. Members of the Horror Writers Association will pay $85 plus a $20 deposit. Visit Fright Club to learn more about the program.

But wait, there’s more! Moaner and his co-hostess, Axis have now launched their own audio series, The Late Night: A Horror Podcast. Every month, tune in as Moaner and Axis re-watch and comment on horror favorites old and new. For those looking for a longer and more interactive experience, The Late Night offers talk radio, watch-alongs, and the horror news, while raising awareness for worthy causes. Now available on iTunes and Stitcher, you can follow Axis and Moaner on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
