If you missed John Waters’ last Filthy Film Fest, you’re in luck. America’s Filth Elder is returning to the Mahoning Drive-In Theater in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, for two nights of cinematic sleaze and cult movie debauchery. The historic B-movie mecca has partnered with Exhumed Films for JOHN WATERS FILTHY FILM FEST II, running Friday, September 27, through Saturday, September 28.

John Waters will be on hand both nights to introduce four of his films (Multiple Maniacs, Cecil B. Demented, Polyester and Serial Mom) and two features personally curated by the Pope of Trash himself (William Friedkin’s Killer Joe and Mom and Dad, starring Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair) and engage the audience in extended Q&As. As a bonus, Waters will provide live commentary for his 1981 classic Polyester during the film’s screening (in glorious 35mm, naturally) on Saturday night.

However, the filthy fun isn’t limited to movies. Waters will be participating in a limited signing and an exclusive photo op based on the infamous “Lobstora” attack scene from Multiple Maniacs for VIP ticketholders only. This year’s Filthy Film Fest will also feature the Dirt Ball Mall (“a freaky flea market featuring tons of vendors selling exactly the sort of oddball crap that any filthy film fan needs in their life!”), a Serial Mom Bloody Bake-Off, the Demented Directors Short Film Contest and the return of John Waters Karaoke.
