Fantastic Fest premiere “NIGHT PATROL” gets a poster and release date

Vampire cops put the bite on inner-city dwellers in the latest from the director of LOWLIFE.

RLJE Films and Shudder have announced that NIGHT PATROL (no relation to the same-titled Jackie Kong comedy) will open in theaters January 16, 2026. This will follow the movie’s world premiere at Fantastic Fest tonight and September 24, and a West Coast premiere at Beyond Fest September 28. Directed by Ryan Prows from a script he wrote with Shaye Ogbonna, Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson, it stars Jermaine Fowler (THE BLACKENING), Justin Long (BARBARIAN), RJ Cyler, Freddie Gibbs, CM Punk, YG, Flying Lotus, Dermot Mulroney, Jon Oswald and Nicki Micheaux. The synopsis: “An LAPD officer must put aside his differences with the area’s street gangs when he discovers a local police task force is harboring a horrific secret that endangers the residents of the housing projects he grew up in.”
