The Marshmallow Ghosts, the Halloween horror band featuring Ryan Graveface of Terror Vision with members of Black Moth Super Rainbow, Lady Lazarus, Dreamend, Hospital Ships, Casket Girls & Graveface Kingpins, has released a new music video.
Titled “CARVE,” the track appears on the band’s latest album—the newest entry in their 17-year lineage. The video unfolds in a first-person POV, taking viewers on a walkthrough of a neighborhood haunted house set to the band’s signature ethereal pop soundscape.

Ryan explains, “I decided to return to the very origins of the project—first dreamt up in 2008, with the debut release following in 2009. Back then, I was living in this idyllic, Halloween-y neighborhood that was wildly inspiring. None of my musical peers were doing anything like it at the time, so the Marshmallow Ghosts concept just made sense.”
In a full-circle moment, the very house where the project was first conceived was rented and used as the video’s backdrop.
The LP, When Death Arrives: Five Nightmares, is among the first records created at Graveface Press, the new facility that recently issued the first-ever soundtrack to 1993’s Fire in the Sky. The album is available standalone, or as part of a deluxe bundle featuring the record pressed on hand-poured wax, a shirt, pillowcase, and a copy of the Graveface Nightmare Dictionary—penned by Chris LaMartina of WNUF Halloween Special fame.
